Solidaridad

Solidaridad is an international network organisation with more than 20 years of experience in creating fair and sustainable supply chains from producer to consumer. Solidaridad believes that fair and sustainable trade reduces poverty and helps to preserve people’s environment.

Solidaridad has developed into a specialised organisation for sustainable development. It has a good track record as a force for innovation. Its development as a learning organisation with the capacity to anticipate and respond to new developments and opportunities on the market is the hallmark of Solidaridad’s organisational culture and strategy.

Solidaridad has more than 20 years of experience in supporting producers in achieving economic, social and ecological sustainability. This experience is very useful to raise productivity and improve quality; realise better terms of trade and organise access to financial services; assure international labour standards and decent living conditions; realise access to education and healthcare; preserve soils and biodiversity; prevent pollution of water, soil and air and save energy. Solidaridad developed a range of instruments for training, quality management, financing, exchange of experience, management, efficiency and sales. These services are used by tens of thousands of farmers and other producers all over the world.
