Soil & More is a private company that specialises in soil fertility, composting, carbon emission reduction and thereby sustainable development.
We would like to be part of this network because we believe that we can add value to the partners in the network. In addition, we are convinced that by joining forces we can achieve a lot more than we all can by ourselves. I expect that all partners seriously look for opportunities to cooperate and strengthen each other’s propositions in mutually beneficial way.
Soil & More has quite some experience working with many stakeholders. Experience with investing- / doing business- / working in developing countries is something we can share. Various lessons learned we can bring to the table (what to do but obviously also, what not to do). We could contribute to the Agri-ProFocus network by Bringing in experience, knowledge in the field of composting, environmental services, social entrepreneurial attitude, looking for synergies and the ability to get things done (practical). In addition, we can make our facilities in the different countries available, like a composting site; laboratory; schooling facilities; land. In Ethiopia, for example, we acquired 18 Ha. of land which can partly be used for demonstration farming or setting up pilot projects for Agri-ProFocus purposes. Furthermore, we may offer a 40% – 50% discounted daily fee for partner organisations on specific projects, to be discussed.

The first Participants’ Council meeting of 2012 was held on 5 April at Aequor in Ede. The goal of the meeting was both to present results from 2011, to discover new tracks for the next phase (2013-2016) and to create a network and business opportunity for members.
