On June 24 – 25 Agri-ProFocus organises an expert meeting to prepare for the writeshop process. The rationale of this pre-meeting is to develop a clear analytical framework for the book. The literature review undertaken by KIT and the emerging framework will be presented for feedback. Experts will be invited to make the case for bringing a gender perspective to value chain analysis. On this basis criteria for cases will be developed that will allow us to effectively select case experiences for the writeshop and steer the process so that the book ultimately captures the arguments, practices and workable strategies and tools for addressing gender in value chains.
