The Organic Africa Pavilion offers a marketplace for organic producers from Africa to present themselves and their products at the BIOFACH 2010 on 19-22 February in Nuremberg. About 75 companies from 20 African countries (including Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Zambia) present a whole variety of African organic products. Gerald A. Hermann, IFOAM comments: ‘It was high time for the continent of Africa to have a presence in the worldwide organic market. This has been achieved with the African Pavilion and the Africa Symposium at the congress!’.
